Commlite CM-FT-MFT Reviews

Does the job fine

Used the converter in a shoot the day after I received it and it worked perfectly. The auto focus and other lens functions seemed to work fine. I've seen other reviews saying that the adapter was loose but I'm not seeing that. It fits snugly and is rock solid.

Works OK, quirky

Works fine mounting a digital 4/3 lens to a micro digital 4/3 camera. Contacts on the adapter pass info from the lens to the camera. Auto-focus and auto-exp. work OK. Programming functions like focus stacking don't. Sometimes it seems quirky. The viewfinder goes dark. I have to reset the adapter & then the contacts start working again. OK as long as you don't put a heavy lens on it. I'm using a 100 mm macro, which is comparatively light. Thanks to B&H for researching.

I have a Panasonic micro four thirds gh5 and a Voigtlander micro four thirds manual focus lens. If I set the Aperture Wide open will the adapter follow shutter priority Aperture adjustments from the camera? Using this for video.
Asked by: Bill
Unfortunately this adapter will not fit. This adapter is for 4/3 SLR lenses to adapt them to the Micro 4/3 mount cameras. The confusion is in the name of the lens mount and the very short lived 4/3 SLR cameras. Since your lens fits directly on the GH5, there is no need for an adapter nor can you use one.

Will this work with a olympus Pen Mini E-PM1 ?
Asked by: Ken
Yes, as the Olympus Pen Mini E-PM1 is based off a micro 4/3 system.
