The DJI Pro Wireless Receiver allows you to extend the operating range of the DJI Force Pro, DJI Master Wheels, and select other controllers. Enhancing the signal, it extends the control range by up to 9840' (line of sight) and also reduces latency. Like the Force Pro and Master Wheels, the receiver is compatible with the Ronin 2 and Ronin-S gimbals. It connects to the gimbal via an S-Bus connection. When used with the Ronin-S, it can be mounted on the side of the gimbal using the optional Ronin-S Cheese Plate. The receiver operates on the 2.4 and 5.8 GHz frequencies.

If using the DJI master wheels with the DJI Ronin ...

If using the DJI master wheels with the DJI Ronin 2 in a studio (so distance from master wheels to Ronin would be maximum 150ft, is this necessary, or will the Ronin receive signal just fine and have minimal latency with it's built in linking?

When the Ronin 2 is paired with the DJI Master Wheels, the signal is disconnected at about 50 meters when the frequency band is 5.8 GHz, and at about 45 meters when the frequency band is 2.4 GHz. DJI Master Wheels can be controlled at a distance of 3 km in an unobstructed and interference-free environment when connected wirelessly. Within 150 feet, purchasing a wireless receiver is not necessary, as a wired connection effectively avoids interference between devices, making control more stable and reliable.

No. This will extend the range of a 2.4 and 5.8 GHz frequencies by 300 ft DJI Force Pro, DJI Master Wheels, and select other controllers.
