Nanuk 935 Overview

Keep sensitive gear protected and organized during storage and transport in this 935 Pro Photo Kit from Nanuk. The kit includes the hard-shell case with a padded divider insert and a lid organizer.

Use the dividers to customize the interior to best suit your gear. The lid organizer has zippered pockets to keep accessories and cables easy to find. The PowerClaw latches accept user-supplied padlocks for added security.

The oversized folding handle provides comfortable carrying, or use the built-in wheels and retractable pull handle to easily roll heavy loads. Made from lightweight NK-7 polypropylene resin, the case will keep your equipment safe from impacts, dust, and water.

Solid, holds a lot, no regrets

The case is very solid and the two-stage latching mechanism is fantastic. The case holds more than I expected. *Hasselblad 907x with 90mm 3.2 attached - spare Hasselblad 55mm XCD in another slot. *Leica M10 with 35mm summicron attached. *Canon R5 with either the RF 70-200mm f4 or RF 24-105mm f4 attached- spare Canon RF 100-500 and Canon RF 28mm 2.8 or RF 35mm f1.8 in another slot. Ricoh GRIV. Two spare batteries for Leica, and Ricoh, 4 spare batteries for Hasselblad and Canon. Without the lid organizer I need a small spare bag for chargers, with the lid organizer I could include all chargers and spare cards, etc. I embed two AirTags, one pretty easy to find and one far more difficult to find. The case rolls well and the handle is sturdy and long enough for me (6’ tall). It appears to be well waterproofed but luckily that didn’t get tested even though I last used it on a coastal fishing shoot. I have no concerns about the quality, size, or value for the money. It’s a no-brainer from my perspective.

Great case and the lid organizer is a blessing. It's really nice to have smaller tools and accessories separated from my camera bodies and lenses. Works just as well as other brands.

With the handle fully extended what is the overall hight from floor to the top of the handle? I have heard the handle is short.

The handle on the Nanuk 935 Wheeled Hard Utility Case with Padded Divider Insert & Lid Organizer has two stop positions to accommodate users of different sizes with handle heights from ground of 32" at the low setting and 38" at the high setting.

One method can be better for particular contents than the other based on what the contents are. Generally, both methods are protective in the same way if said contents fit correctly.

While it depends on the size of the 17" laptop (gaming laptops for instance are significantly thicker and wider), it is neither recommended nor safe to store a laptop behind the lid organizer. More than likely, it will prevent the lid and/or lid organizer from sitting flush and closing as the manufacturer intended.
