Designed to achieve highly accurate and consistent color settings for profiling displays and projectors, and assuring print quality, the X-Rite i1Basic Pro 3 Plus combines the i1Pro 3 spectrophotometer with a series of accessories and software to create a well-rounded color calibration and profiling system. The included spectrophotometer features a large 8mm aperture for precise results on a variety display surfaces. It also supports both reflective and transmissive materials, and with the included XL ruler it supports measuring larger test patches for improved compatibility with large-format printers. The included polarization filter can help reduce the effects of hot spots on surfaces being measured. The i1Basic Pro 3 Plus hardware and software components support calibrating multiple devices, to create consistent results from monitor to monitor, and even to projectors.

Can we get the i1Pro3Plus spectrophometer without the large cutting board and extra software? We don't need the extras and we use external software based on the SDK. Thanks!

Can the i1Basic Pro 3 Plus take M0 (incandescent), M1 (D50), M2 (UV-cut), and M3 (Polarized) readings? Or just polarized?
The X-Rite i1Basic Pro 3 Plus Color Management System ships with the i1Pro 3 Plus spectrophotometer and comes with a physical Polarization Filter that will allow the device to measure M3 (Polarized) and only M3 while the filter is physically installed to the device. When the Polarized Filter is replaced with the Standard Filter, it can measure and report M0, M1, & M2.

Will the X-Rite I1Basic Pro 3 Plus make profiles for Canon imagePROGRAF Pro-2100? I see mixed answers on printer profiles.
The X-Rite i1Basic Pro 3 Plus Color Management System does not do printer profiles. The X-Rite i1Publish Pro 3, B&H # XRI1PP3, would be able to do printer profiling.

Will this kit profile displays, projectors, and epson printers?
No. The i1Basic licensing includes Displays and Projector Profiling only...there is no Printer Profiling in i1Profiler with a Basic license. You would need to purchase an i1Publish Pro 3 Plus to profile printers in the X-Rite i1Profiler software application.
