Shall I use the matte black ink for printing in this paper? I use an Epson R3000.
Yes, this Ilford Galerie Mono Silk Warmtone (13 x 19", 25 Sheets) is matte and therefore you should use matte black on your Epson R3000.

How would this paper compare to the Gold Mono ...
How would this paper compare to the Gold Mono Silk paper that Ilford discontinued. I love what this paper does with warm undertones to my B&W photos. I shoot nothing but B&W and many can use the simple light warm tone of Gold Mono Silk. Would you recommend this paper to replace Gold Mono Silk?
The coating layer has been improved in newer iterations.
