This was my first set of gels, I practiced using them with my kids during the quarantine in Michigan. I'm delighted with the purchase and look forward to using them on some client engagements. Excellent colors.

You can use the Godox Color Effects Set BH #GOSA11C with the S 30 or S60. with the set came out the S60 had not yet been released.

Are these thin gels like those commonly used to wrap around lights, or do they have some rigidity ?
The gels in the Godox Color Effects Set are standard gel film material, such as the gels available from the Rosco and Lee brands; they are flexible and can be cut with scissors and clipped or taped onto lights.

How do these stand up to heat? I assume well since they are for use with single chip LEDs.
From my experience, most gels don't like extreme flash power if they're CLOSE to heat. For example, if I stick one right in front of my ml60 cob led at full power, it will start to discolor / melt. If I stick it right in front of an AD400 and shoot at full power, it will also start to discolor and melt.
The good news with projectors is that the gel is further away from the heat / extreme light of a flash tube or LED Chip. The heat and extreme light is dissipated by the projector design, and a lot of the power is lost between there and the optic. The gel being applied at the end helps reduce any worries about heat damage to the gel.
