The Manfrotto 645 FAST Twin Leg Video Tripod with Ultra L-Lock Mechanism is a two-stage aluminum tripod with a 100mm bowl and a single leg lock mechanism for each leg. A 100 to 75mm bowl adapter is included, so you get the flexibility to use 100 or 75mm video heads. The tripod features twin spiked feet with removable rubber overshoes, allowing for use on various terrain as well as on flat, smooth surfaces. It supports up to 55 pounds and has a maximum working height of 61.8", a minimum height of 10.6", and a folded length of 28.7".

The Sachtler 75/2 Mark II Carbon Fiber Tripod (75mm), BH #SAS21710001, would be recommended for your Ace XL head for best compatibility.

A spreader is not included with the Manfrotto 645 FAST Twin Leg Video Tripod with Ultra L-Lock Mechanism (Aluminum). However you can purchase them as an accessory. The Manfrotto 165MV Ground Spreader for Spiked Tripod (BH #MA165MV) would be the ground spreader for the 645 FAST tripod, and the Manfrotto 2-in-1 Mid-Level/Ground Spreader (BH #MAMVASPR2N1) can be used as the mid level spreader.

No the Sachtler aktiv8T Touch & Go Fluid Head with SpeedLevel & 7-Step Drag for Sachtler Tripods (75mm) is not compatible with the Manfrotto 645 FAST Twin Leg Video Tripod with Ultra L-Lock Mechanism (Carbon Fiber). According to Sachtler the aktiv6 and aktiv8 fluid heads are compatible with Sachtler 75mm tripods (flowtech 75 aktiv, Tripod 75/2 AL, SpeedLock 75, ENG 75/2 D, DA 75L).

Can you recommend a slim tie down for a Cartoni 100mm ball head that works with this tripod? The tie down that comes with the head is to big and you can not fold the legs with it.
The Manfrotto 645 FAST Twin Leg Video Tripod with Ultra L-Lock Mechanism (Carbon Fiber) (B&H# MAMVTTWINFCU) can accept a 100mm half ball for mounting a tripod head, including those from Cartoni. While we do not know which Cartoni half ball or tripod head you're using, this is the only low profile tie down knob we offer, and unfortunately it is only for Mitchell heads:

We're showing you that so that you get an idea of what it looks like, and because it's not impossible that you also have access to compatible a Mitchell head. Having said that, we would recommend contacting the manufacturer of your chosen half ball about a lower profile option for your particular equipment since the Mitchell option (above) is the only one we carry.
