The Dual-Grip Handlebar & Handgrip Kit from SHAPE highly expands your handling capability of the DJI Ronin-SC gimbal. The Dual-Grip Handlebar allows you to hold the gimbal with two hands. It lets you do this with the gimbal right-side up or upside down, all the while transferring the weight of the gimbal to your core. It also allows you to mount various accessories along its length. You can attach a monitor, mic, and lights to have a comprehensive system in an all-in-one setup (optional 22-25mm rod clamps are required). Alternatively, the included Handgrip, which is a single-piece bracket that attaches to the rear of the gimbal, lets you quickly and comfortably switch to underslung low-mode with one hand. It also provides extra support in all other modes. Additionally, there are mounting threads and shoe mounts among the two products for attaching more accessories. Using a mini tripod, the gimbal can be set down with both of these items attached, so there's no need to remove them after every use.
While the rear Handgrip is compatible only with the Ronin-S, the Dual-Grip Handlebar fits both the Ronin-S and Ronin-SC.
Aside from providing an effective way of shooting underslung, the SHAPE Handgrip for DJI Ronin SC also offers a shoe mount on top and one on the side for attaching your smartphone and other accessories. Using an optional smartphone mount, you can attach your phone on top for access to the companion app or to monitor your image (when used with select cameras).
Other than being used in underslung, low-angle operation, the Handgrip can also be used as the main or secondary support handle in all other modes. It attaches directly to the right side of the Ronin SC using two included screws. An ergonomic design makes it comfortable and secure to hold. Besides the shoe mounts, the Handgrip also provides seven 1/4"-20 and five 3/8"-16 threaded holes all around.
Transfer weight from your wrists to your core with the Dual-Grip Handlebar from SHAPE for the DJI Ronin-S/SC. The aluminum bar has a rubber-lined center gimbal mount to protect your DJI Ronin-S or Ronin-SC and keep it secure. Two comfortable, adjustable rubber handgrips connect to the rod ends and are tightened by locking levers.
The bar has a 1/4"-20 threaded hole on each end, and both handgrips have 1/4"-20 threaded holes on top and bottom for a total of six accessory mounting options. Additional accessories can be mounted on the handlebar with 22 to 25mm rod clamps. Mount the gimbal on top or hang it below the bar in inverted mode. The bar and handgrips align with the gimbal base to rest steadily on a flat surface during a break or when calibrating.
