The Audio-Technica Consumer ATR2100x-USB offers to podcasters, voice-over artists, and live performers a professional-quality solution for recording vocals at home, and amplifying vocals on the stage. Sporting both an XLR and a USB output, the mic allows you to record straight to computers, without sacrificing its ability to function as a live mic with any old mixer or PA system.
The mic fulfills its dual purposes with an enticing feature: the ability to handle 24-bit/192 kHz audio. One could consider this specification to be on the high-end of high-res. Thus, this mic offers uncompromising quality for capturing the nuances of your voice, despite the wallet-friendly price tag. Two USB cables, an XLR cable, and a desktop stand are included.

Audio-Technica Consumer ATR2100X-USB Reviews
Works Very Well for the Price
Works really well for the price, the dual inputs are a nice future proofing feature for me. The stand obviously isn't the greatest, but it's expected to get better one at this price; it gets the job done.
Works great!
The mic arrived quickly and it works very well. It's a great mic for a beginner podcaster, like me!
STOP YOU NEED A DYNAMIC MAC THIS IS NOT IT!
It is a good mic dont get me wrong I got my last Sept. Just got around to using it because of the room I'm in... needed to nock out the noise on the side 8ft away doesnt do it with out noise blocker grrr had this been what I was told I would be happy but not the case now im ordering a new mic again... This is not B&H Fault but they sold it and Audio-Technica put out false information.
THIS IS NOT A DYNAMIC MICROPHONE
I ORDERED IT SEPT 28TH JUST GOT THE TIME TO SET THIS MIC UP WITH XLR CABLES & MY FOCUSRITE... ITS 100% CONDENSER DOES WORK WELL SO 2 STARS BUT WHEN I SPOKE WITH B&H I MADE IT CLEAR I WANTED A DYNAMIC... I ORDERED THE Q9U WAS BACK ORDERED SO WAS TALKED INTO THIS MIC... IF YOU WANT A DYNAMIC MIC THIS IS NOT IT! NOW I HAVE TO ORDER ANOTHER MIC.
Mic is perfect. Boom Arm - really bad
Microphone is working perfectly. Nice improvement over headset microphone. Recording of podcasts and music is great. Boom Arm - another story. Very stiff, doesn't stay in place without constant tightening of the screws. Very hard to adjust with limited flexibility. Always afraid to break something inside, had some loud crack at one time...
Best mic for budget and flexibility.
This is my second AT product and I have been extremely happy with both, particularly this microphone. The sound quality is outstanding for the cost and it is easy to use, offering the flexibility of both USB and XLR connections. An outstanding starter mic for new podcasters.
Solid mic for podcasting
When my last mic died right before I had multiplie podcasts scheduled, I knew I needed a quick and reliable replacement. This ATR2100x arrived quickly and has performed well. The stand and holder have a cheap feel but I ditched the tripod and attached it to my boom arm anyway and it has worked well.
good clean mike
I was hesitant because the price is so good, but guess what? It's a solid mike. A great value. I use it for podcasting and Live comedy shows. And it arrived in 3 days. Thanks B & H... I love supporting this company.
