Avantone Pro AV10-MXO Crossover for Yamaha NS10M Speakers

The AV10-MXO from Avantone is a replacement crossover for the Yamaha NS10M, a legendary referencing monitor whose original components are currently out of production.

The AV10-MXO is a bolt-in replacement for the original crossover. It is installed easily, with minimal tools. The design does sport improvements over the original, such as an aluminum rear panel as compared to the plastic material used in the original's crossover. The rear terminal plate also utilizes a higher-grade binding-post connector. The crossover network itself uses the same value capacitors as the original, but makes use of higher-grade materials.

All the winding dimensions meet the original specifications, as do the inductors and DC resistance. The crossover ships with a replacement gasket.
