The Souvenir Production Slate from Cavision features color clapper sticks that provide visual and audio sync points for production use. It's designed to be used as a souvenir for cast, crew, or fans, but it can also be used as a fully functional production clapper slate. The reinforced slate has a preprinted acrylic face for use with dry-erase markers, a resonance chamber on the back that amplifies the bang of the clapper sticks shutting, and single-bolt hinge design. The slate's latch system holds the sticks closed, so they don't pop open when you are carrying the slate in between shots. An integrated slot on the back of the slate provides a convenient way of holding the slate during operation.
The resonance chamber amplifies the clap of the sticks.
Preprinted text is under the top acrylic surface, protecting the printing from wear and blurring over time.
