Shine the spot beam to see what's ahead of you, use the flood to perform tasks or to watch your step, or use both beams at once for maximum illumination. Attach the magnetic tail to a metal surface, click on the flood beam, and you've got a very capable trouble light. Its glass-filled nylon polymer body is IP67-rated waterproof and submersible to 3.3' and carries a 6.6' impact-resistance rating. The light is controlled by two push-button switches just below the head, one for the spot beam (choice of momentary or constant-on activation) and one for the flood (constant-on only). That magnet in the tail is also useful for retrieving dropped metal objects.
