The light is cULus certified intrinsically-safe for use in hazardous environments, so it won't be the point of ignition if there are volatile chemicals in the air or area. The array of five white floodlight LEDs perfectly emits an impressive 1000 lumens on high for six hours, or 500 lumens on low for 17 hours, powered by an integrated, rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The high-visibility green-and-black housing is constructed from lightweight glass-filled nylon polymer, keeping it cool to the touch while being chemical, heat, and impact resistant.
