AKG K371 Reviews

The Best Sound Paired & Bad Design Flaws

I wish I could express how sad I am at the fact that they have not addressed the design flaws in this model already to make this probably one of the highest selling studio headphones ever. This thing from a sound, comfort, and portability perspective is a 10/10. I wouldn't say is sturdy enough either for most of its design. Unfortunately this version (the bluetooth one) has a horrible design flaw in the headphone jack part where the pin plug is not secured to the headphone casing and it comes out with the cable when you pulled because the pin plug is a threaded component but the casing that holds it is not. So no matter how lightly you pull the cable after unlocking the mechanism by pushing the little cable button it can still come out. This is a super simple fix. Create a threaded casing for the cable plug component and that immediately takes this to a 4 out of 5. Update the bluetooth and add improve the headband design slightly and this will be a top notch deal. Want to take it out of the park, add a low latency widget to it and done.

Great in sound but weak on the construction side.

Great sound, very comfortable, no issues with Bluetooth. But! like all others reviews... same issue with hinges...my broke on the right side...gaeffer tape won't do the trick.. then...another issue with a rattleling inside the cuff...I opened and noticed a square metal like kind of a counterweight..came off. I have to glue it in with crazy glue..but now..another problem!.. earpads broke within the inseam in the process of opening. In summary, great audio technology as for sound, bluetooth. The construction engineer need another job.

The AKG K371 Over-Ear Oval Closed-Back Studio Headphones come with three detachable cables: a 9.8' coiled cable, a 3.9' straight cable, and a 9.8' straight cable, along with a 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter.
