Does anyone have an issue with the new grip pressing/irritating the top fingers especially when using longer lenses?
Asked by: Derek
So far the universal response to this (and the a7R MKIV's) new and enhanced grip has been entirely positive. As you can see from the side view, it's smaller on top so that part of it is still similar to that of its predecessor. Have you experienced any issues with the new grip?

How does this camera do in hot weather? I've had a lot of issues with the A7RIV overheating when I was filming/shooting outdoors. It didn't take much, maybe 30 minutes in the afternoon and it will start turning off. Does the A9 have the same issue?
Asked by: Nathaniel
Yes the Sony A9ii can also overheat in hot weather.

Ok I have the Sony A7iii and love it, as I do bird photography and Video using my DJI RSC2. But I need the faster focus tracking like the A9 , but I will have to sell my A7iii to get the A9 from you. But the A9 does not have picture profiles . Will the A9 still do good video using standard video profile?
Asked by: Jerry
Though the A9 does not have picture profiles, the standard video profile is more than fine and can even still be adjusted slightly if you need to make minor adjustments in post. But overall, the A9 would be a much better suited camera when it comes to speed and tracking for bird photography and videography.

How will be this camera for video? I know it will obviously not be bad, but with an alpha 7iii it’s possible to get pretty sharp images already and I am wondering if this would be possible with this one. I really need that versatility in a camera.
Asked by: Allan
The Sony Alpha a9 II Mirrorless Digital Camera would be a great option for video recording usage needs.

Which camera would be more versatile for wildlife ...

Which camera would be more versatile for wildlife photography, the Sony A9II or the Sony A 7R IV ?
Asked by: William
Silent shooting with the stacked sensor is also a large plus with the A9 II. While the A7RIV can also shoot silently the image can look like jello if it is moving quickly. This can be a big plus if close to wildlife. It is also good because people don't know exactly when you are taking pictures and when you are not. The biggest plus of the A7RIV is how much you can crop and keep good resolution. Files for the A7RIV will take a lot of processing power (need a powerful laptop and desktop to edit) and hard drive space (you'll likely need a few extra hard drives), but the level of detail is absolutely amazing. The focus is better on the A9ii according to reviews while you will potentially miss some shots on the A7RIV that the A9ii will deliver.
