I had to unscrew the quick release and adjust the handle because the 'unlocked' position was preventing rails from fitting in.

I wasn’t able to use the mount because it cannot be attached to the rail unless the end of the rail has enough clearance to slide it on. There’s no way to just clip it onto the middle of a rail.
