This Niceyrig two-pack includes two brass-made 5/8"-27 Male to 3/8"-16 Female adapters for mic stands. On the bottom, each adapter features a 3/8"-16 female thread. These adapters are designed to attach to the top of mic stands that have a 3/8"-16 screw and to provide 5/8"-27 male threading instead.
Great design for multiple applications. I've got a lot of gear that's 3/8" and 5/8", these little Niceyrig adapters are perfect for mounting between all of it. Love the slots on the bottom flange side for allowing use of a screwdriver for removal if they get a bit too tight. Having full thread depth on the 3/8" is very handy for versatility. Great swoop!
I have several of these already, but bought them to increase my order value to qualify for free shipping. Otherwise, i would pay for shipping and get nothing of value i could use. Turns out i needed two of these for a project so i didn't have to raid my existing stock of these adapters. I have no idea what metal they're made of, pot metal or stainless steel, but i'm hoping it doesn't strip out once in use.
