This two-piece Niceyrig Quick Release Plate Kit can be attached to various camera supports, such as select shoulder rigs, shoulder pads, and cheese plates. It can also be used to build up a rig with other components. The bottom plate (baseplate) attaches to your rig with two included 1/4"-20 screws, and the top plate attaches to your camera. The camera can then be mounted on the baseplate and removed by quick release. The camera plate comes with both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera mounting screws, and it can be secured not just to cameras but also to camera cages and other gear.
The camera plate features the Manfrotto 501PL standard, which is compatible with many common tripods and other camera supports, so you can easily move your camera between your rig and these camera supports. The camera plate is tightened into place on the baseplate via a spring-loaded lever on the side of the baseplate, and a safety lock on the baseplate ensures the camera plate won't come off accidentally, even when the spring-loaded lever is loosened. The safety lock is released at the push of a release button.

Solid plate, many uses, good to have around just in case
This plate has multiple uses, anywhere from placing a camera in an odd/hard to reach location, using a gimbal, a c-stand, a pipe/handlebar, shoulder rig, wall, table, ceiling, etc. Basically if you have an unusual need that isn't met by a standard tripod, you can use this, just use your imagination.

These plates and mounts are everything I ever dreamed of! Unlike their overpriced competitors, they actually work, they don't get stuck, they're actually quick to switch, and they're half the price! The competitor has been giving me headaches for 8 years. Gone are the days where my camera is stuck to the tripod for ten minutes because I can't access the locking knob! Gone are the days I had to dismantle a quickplate just because it only goes one way and doesn't fit under my lens! I dislike working with cages and switch cameras from one stabilizer to another very often. A proper quickplate and mount design is indispensable! This simple but extremely effective design should have been out a decade ago! The locking knob on this mount is easily accessible if you have a camera connected. You can even turn it completely underneath the cam body! The plate locks and removes in both directions! The plate is small, almost half the length of a standard mf, so it's not for every camera. Everything except the knob cover is metal and well made! Everything works with my other brands' quickplates and mounts too! Not that I'm keeping any of them. I love it. I'm finally happy with my quickplate system. I'll never give another dime to MF! I'm replacing every one of my MF mounts and plates with one of these!
