Solid and well built, fits perfectly around my 5Dmkiii. Lots of attachment points for such a minimal cage. The only issue I have is that the scroll wheel new the ISO and White Balance buttons is difficult to access. Not impossible, but it does limit my scrolling.

This rig has a problem

I always use a shutter release that i connect via standard cable. Unfortuneatly the 90 degree angle on these cables can't clear the niceyrig on my 5d mk III. That means I can't use this rig. Other rigs are thinner near the cables, but not the niceyrig.

The Niceyrig Form-Fitting Full Camera Cage for Canon 5D Mark IV 5D Mark II Mark III 5Ds is not compatible with the Canon EOS 7D Mark II. You will need to use a universal cage since there is no dedicated cage for the 7D Mark II. Here is one: Niceyrig VersaFrame Quick Release Half Cage (BH # NI231).
