WANDRD Essential+ Overview

This Essential+ Camera Cube adds protective and organized storage to your WANDRD PRVKE 31L backpack. It accommodates a compact DSLR or mirrorless with up to four lenses and comes with five padded, adjustable dividers, so you can organize the interior to best suit your needs.

Zippered panels offer easy access to the interior, and the durable, weather-resistant nylon exterior and top handle allow you to use it as a standalone bag. D-rings enable adding a separately available shoulder strap for hands-free carrying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to carry Pelican hard case to shoots, but I need a simpler camera bag. I bought the PRVKE 31L but have no camera cube. I bought the big camera cube for the whole bag but that's too big and it made the bag quite heavy, I need a smaller cube that I can be used as I travel. And put other stuffs too. So this one is a better solution for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this after a lot of deliberation and research. Being I already have lots of travel bags and didn’t want to fully purchase yet another travel bag, I still needed something to protect and carry my camera and lenses that no longer fit in my 6L sling I purchased. This bag fits the bill. The essential plus easily fits my R10 with EfF to RF adapter and the EF 70-200 f2.8 L IS Lens along with my 35mm lens and some accessories. I’m hoping this will also fit an extender when I purchase one. This is also great when traveling in the car and I don’t want a duffle bag or a backpack. 100 percent recommend for that person that just wants a little extra room for carrying your gear and doesn’t need a full backpackMy two suggestions to this bag would be to add another D ring to the other side of the camera opening so the bag can hang vertically from the shoulder and the camera can be accessed really quickly from that position.Also, reversing the direction the zipper goes if the above is added would also make sense as well. This way the zipper closes near the camera opening.

I am looking to purchase the Wandrd 21 L Pvke backpack, Does the Essential plus cube fit into the 21 L pack and will it hold my Nikon D850 body and wide angle lens ?

No, the WANDRD Essential+ Camera Cube is not designed to fit in the WANDRD PRVKE 21 Backpack, it is designed for the 31L. The Essential+ will hold the Nikon D850 DSLR Camera and a wide angle lens, it just will not fit the 21L bag. The 21L uses the standard WANDRD Essential Camera Cube, BH #WACCEBK1 (https://bhpho.to/3yGpHNP).

The WANDRD Essential+ Camera Cube is designed to protect camera gear inside a backpack and are not normally carried on their own, so no straps are included.
