Arca-Swiss Core 60 Leveler Classic
Key Features
  • Load Capacity: 44 lb
  • Adjustment Range +/-10° on X/Y Axes
  • 360° Panning on Top and Bottom Base
  • Arc Movement Keeps Camera Axis Cantered
The precise and fluid Core 60 Leveler Classic from Arca-Swiss is equipped with a double-dovetail clamp that is compatible with Arca-Swiss Classic plates, MonoballFix plates, and Arca-Swiss monorail cameras. The clamp easily locks down by switching the Classic mechanism. The head works on arc movements that keep your camera centered over your tripod, so you never lose your center of axis. The X and Y axes each have +/-10° of micrometric adjustment, which is controlled by two geared telescopic knobs, which pull out if you are using a larger camera and can't reach the knobs. The head has 360° panning on both the top and bottom base, and the top pan has a scale for a repeated setup or for measuring intervals when creating a panoramic shot. The Core 60 can hold camera equipment weighing up to 44 lb, and with each movement you make, there is no need to lock a knob because of its self-locking gear.

I have an Arca Swiss P0. Can this be attached to the top to make a hybrid?
Asked by: Mark
Typically, levelers are mounted below standard heads since it fixes uneven leveling much better when it's closer to the surface (i.e. the first device atop the tripod). While the Core Levelers from Arca-swiss are self-contained, they can be use as you described. But you could also consider other leveling bases with 3/8"-16 mounting threads to make it easier on yourself, like these: https://bhpho.to/3yONA3Q https://bhpho.to/3p0mxht https://bhpho.to/3p0mxht (this option has both male/female 3/8"-16 on the bottom)

Does the L60 have a two axis bubble level. The picture shows it does but I thought the l60 has just a single bullseye level. Please confirm?
Asked by: Chris
The photo is not correct: the Core 60 Leveler Classic has a single bubble level on the quick release, not on the side of the mount.
