Sigma HG-11 Reviews
A Must for Sigma FP users
The HG-11 is a great addition for those who want to carry their Sigma FP for everyday photography, while keeping their camera as light as possible.
Expensive but quite helpful
Reviewers elsewhere described this as: 1 too expensive, 2) uncomfortable for large hands, or 3) unnecessary. They may be right. My own hands are somewhat large, but I find the grip quite comfortable. I like the understated design that complements the fp L, and feel it is quite useful. One thing no one mentions: having to detach and reattach it whenever removing the camera strap is fairly mandatory in many situations and can be a real bother. I love Sigma's innovative product designs, but I fear it is coming at a premium that will could alienate some fans and muddy its reputation. I hope B&H will be more aggressive identifying and retailing third-party accessories for Sigma's modular cameras.
