A similar function to the CR-41, do third-party side handles that have a start/stop function work in the same way as the CR-41 with the Sigma FP, connecting the provided third-party cable to the sigma FP via microphone jack?

The Sigma CR-41 Cable Release is the only remote cable compatible with the Sigma fp Mirrorless Camera.

Unfortunately, using a splitter with the CR-41 Cable Release would not effectively trigger both cameras at the same time.
