This thing broke on first use. The cheap plastic retrieval crimped and broke off in my roll.

Will not work.

After an hour of trying I was able to retrieve the film on my first roll. By the second roll, the small strip/tongue had bent and end up breaking apart. Don't buy! Doesn't work!
