Offered here in a 60mL satchet, this Simplicity Black and White Film Developer from Ilford is a liquid concentrated developer for producing negatives with fine grain and excellent sharpness. The sachet contains the correct amount of photo chemicals to develop two rolls of 35mm film or one roll of 120 film once diluted with 540mL of water, when using a two-reel, 600mL developing tank.

Surely this is an expensive way to buy black and white film developer. However if you only occasionally run a roll or two, mixing larger quantities or buying larger bottles of other developers which will oxidize and go bad may actually prove more expensive. For fixer or stop bath I’d recommend going with more traditional products, not Simplicity. A good product line if just starting out developing film!
