Ilford SIMPLICITY Developer Reviews

Costly yet economical?

Surely this is an expensive way to buy black and white film developer. However if you only occasionally run a roll or two, mixing larger quantities or buying larger bottles of other developers which will oxidize and go bad may actually prove more expensive. For fixer or stop bath I’d recommend going with more traditional products, not Simplicity. A good product line if just starting out developing film!

Wins on convenience for occasional weekend film developing. As soon as you get water temperature to 20 C you are ready to start processing. No need to be a chemist. Always fresh and ready to go when you are.

Yes, with careful measurement, the Ilford Simplicity Black and White Film Developer can be divided and stored for later use. The packet would need to have almost all of the air removed before resealing.
