Yes, do it all the time. Remember though to first attach speed-light to bracket, then Maggrip base, then mount on light stand.

Is there a way to buy the inner clamp shoes separately? I lost my two that flatten the bracket to hold my AD200.
    Asked by: Amos
I went right to Godox and it appears the answer is no. The fact that the bracket only cost 25.00 it would probably cost more for you to get this item, then to simply replace with a new bracket.

Does anyone know what the exact inner diameter is? I have a specific bulb with a 9.2cm diameter so just want to check if it'll possibly fit. Cheers all.

Regarding the measurements I sent you I took those with the adjustable upper plate fully opened and from the flat portion of that plate to the flat portion of the bottom plate. Then for the side to side I measured from the flat portion on each side even though you can in reality get more room where it curves as long as your light doesn't take up the whole area. Because if it does your limited by those flat surfaces. Now with the bottom plate removed it measures 3 and 1/8 inches (7.94cm), but your may still be restricted by the shape of your light. The measurements I sent you here are the conversions 2 &1/2 inches = 6.35cm, 2 & 7/8 inches = 7.30cm, 3 & 1/8 inches = 7.94cm Hope this helps Ray
