I have had many Kirk replacement feet and they all have been perfect.

Not easily mounted and removed from the lens

Unlike the Kirk foot for the Sony 200-600, mounting this foot requires an Allen wrench and tiny screws. I probably wont be removing it often but doing so risks losing the the tiny screws, and of course, the design is less flexible that the 200-600 foot which I also have, 5 stars for that.

The longest one I could find

It is long, easier to balance the Sony cameras with grips. I also like the length in case I want to clamp on a flash bracket to it. Only downside is it is not comfortable in my hand if I am carrying the lens by the foot.

    Good but not perfect

It functions as it should and is a solid, high-quality piece of equipment. There are just two things that keep it from being perfect. One is that it's longer than it needs to be (at least using an A7R IV) and a little heavier than it would need to be. According to my scale it's a few grams heavier than the stock foot. When trying to fly or hike with a big lens, every bit of weight matters. More importantly, it is noticeably more uncomfortable to carry the lens by this lens foot compared to the stock foot. It's just the shape of the foot and the sharper edges. Those two things aside, I recommend it.

    Great!!

I use this with my Sony 600mm f4, and a Mono-Gimbal. Works great, gets the center of gravity lower and no plate needed. Plus it's less than a RRS.

A rare 5 stars from me

After getting bludgeoned by corporate reviews over the years (3-met expectations), this gets a rare 5 star rating from me for a piece Sony should have included with their $$$ lens. Well made in the USA including the small T-style hex wrench included with the unit. I just wish it had the hole/opening near the foot side like they do for the 200-600 model as I usually curl my finger around it when carrying the lens using the foot so I feel more secure.

    Works great

I hold thel lens with the body mounted all the time with the KLF, in addition to the large PD around my shoulders for extra safety. No discomfort while carrying by the KLF at all.

Yes it comes with 4 screws to mount on the lens as well as Torx Key. Though I feel a bit overpriced, I've been using this for slightly over 2 years and I'm very happy with it.
