Does anyone know what type of footswitch is compatible with the S1? Just your standard momentary footswitch? Latched or unlatched? Thanks!
You can use either a momentary (non-latching) or an on/off (latching) style footswitch. For punch in/out, a momentary switch is a good option.

I am looking for an audio control surface that will work with my Newtek Tricaster 2 Elite. Any recomendations?
I believe the S1 will work since it uses the EUCON protocol. NewTek had listed the Avid Artist Mix as a compatible controller that uses EUCON and the Avid S1 is the newer model that Avid introduced to replace the Artist Mix.
