Good body, worthless electronics

I bought it and it already arrived with one side dead, but I just needed it as a cough switch, so whatever .... about 20 hours of usage later, the switch failed and nothing would make it switch again; ground loop or not, latch or not, unpowering in, trying the other input .. nope, it just stays on LED ON mode and you see the LED pulse a but when you trigger the switch - as other reviews here have mentioned already... I looked at the PCB and the switch itself is fine, it seems like they messed up the hex inverter? Also the spring on the SM2 switch is rusted ... it arrives RUSTED... The soldering job is awful, the place where the LED was soldered on is burnt to a crisp and flux is still all over the board. I can only recommend buying it if you are willing to reverse-engineer it, replace the trash components and rebuild it. The only good thing about this is the solid case it comes in.

I've had 2 of them fail

When it works, it's perfect. A switch with no pops and silent mechanical operation. But I've now had 2 of them fail. When switching from A to B (or in my case using it as a mic mute, from hot to mute), then switching back, the output fails and no signal passes back to A. In the first case it took several months before the failure occurred, but when I replaced it, the second one failed in exactly the same way on it's third use. Sadly, I can't rely on it.
