SHAPE FULL PLAY 26V Overview

Designed to power cine cameras and pro LED lights, the FULL PLAY 26V 260Wh Lithium-Ion Battery from SHAPE features a normal 10A draw with a 15A maximum output. This Gold mount battery will power a 1x1' Flex Cine Mat LED light for approximately 2.4 hours.

The 260Wh FULL PLAY battery features one 5V, 2A USB output for powering an accessory, a five-LED remaining power display, and built-in protection against overheating, overcharging, and overdischarging.

Note:
Not compatible with 14.8V battery chargers.

I’ve had DMG portable lighting for a few months now and when heard Shape was releasing a 26 volt battery, it took 5 minutes to convince me to purchase one! It’s a beast! Will get some more for some big shoots coming up with my brand new ARRI Skypanel. I tested them onset, they rock!  You guys have to get some. They are incredible.

Are the positive and negative pins in the same ...

Are the positive and negative pins in the same location as for the 14.8v Batteries? What if this battery is mistakenly put on a 14.8v charger or vice versa?

Hello Jahsen, Thank you for your question! The pins are in the same location as for the 14.8 V battery. If the 26V battery is installed on a 14.8 V charger, the charger will not work. Will this function the same as 14.8v batteries without effect if my gear?

We would not recommend using 26V batteries on equipment requiring 14.8V of power. You risk sending too strong a current to your equipment and permanently damaging it. We recommend only using it with cameras and lighting gear requiring 26V.

The SHAPE FULL PLAY 26V 260Wh Lithium-Ion Battery (V-Mount) outputs at 26V which is too high for the 24V input of the Canon EOS C80 6K Full-Frame Cinema Camera (Canon RF).

From Aputue's site..."The LS 600d Pro utilizes the most advanced power system in the LED marketplace, featuring a standard 3-pin XLR 48V (15A) DC input, as well as multi-voltage V-Mount or Gold Mount battery plates, allowing users to high-output 14.4V, 26V, 28.8V* batteries." In fact, you must use a 26v battery to reach high power settings. 14.4v batteries only allow half power settings.

The SHAPE FULL PLAY 26V 260Wh Lithium-Ion Battery (V-Mount) has a D-Tap pushing 26V. It is compatible with the SmallRig RC 220D Daylight LED Monolight (BH #SM3472). You will need a 3-pin XLR to D-Tap cable, such as the COLBOR D-Tap to XLR V-Mount Battery Cable (19.7"), BH #COVX50.
