The mount attaches to a single 15mm rod on your rig, and your monitor mounts using the 1/4"-20 captive screw on the other end. The mount's 8" long rod can rotate to place your monitor into a comfortable viewing position.

sturdy well built unit. However - the rail mount clamp has pins that only allow for certain pivot points (limiting its position) which leaves you in an awkward spot once you mount the monitor, as the monitor is in a fixed position. There needs to be a way to pivot or swivel the monitor to make up for the limitation of the rail clamp. You can eventually find a way to a decent position but it is not without a lot of trial and error. Not perfect.
