I bought this thing, but I couldn't use it as a record button on my rig's handle at all. This is a complete scam. It doesn't work on any of my Sony cameras, and I also bought as many cables as it took to get it working. At the end, it was an extreme disappointment. If anyone knows of something similar that works, please let me know. Thanks.

Will this item work with Panasonic’s Bgh1 and s5?

Yes, the LanParte LANC-03 Start/Stop Remote Button for Sony and Panasonic Cameras is compatible with both the Panasonic S5 Mirrorless Camera and the Panasonic Lumix BGH1 Box Cinema Camera.

Has anybody tried this as a record start/stop, plugged into the Atomos Ninja V plus (or V)? Thanks.

The LanParte LANC-03 Start/Stop Remote Button for Sony and Panasonic Cameras is designed to work specifically with Sony and Panasonic cameras, we do not know if it will work with Atomos monitors.
