For direct printing, the ST-M3000 has a high-speed USB connection, and the unit hosts a variety of mobile printing options that allow you to wirelessly print from an iPhone or iPad, as well as Android tablets and smartphones. The printer's maximum resolution of 2400 x 1200 dpi ensures highly detailed prints, and speed is also very good with the ability to reach up to 20 ppm in simplex mode and 9 ppm in duplex mode. For all the other functions, the ST-M3000 is equipped with both a 35-sheet ADF and an 8.5 x 11.7" flatbed scanner with an optical resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi. This setup will capture fine detail in your originals and allow the creation of sharp and detailed copies with ease. Along with these capabilities, the printer features a 2.4" color touchscreen for easy touch-and-swipe setup, navigation, and checking the current status of your job.

What is the difference between this printer and ...

What is the difference between this printer and the EcoTank ET-M3170?

The only difference between the Epson WorkForce ST-M3000 Monochrome MFP Supertank Printer and the Epson EcoTank ET-M3170 is that the ST-M3000 comes with 2 bottles of ink instead of just 1.
