Worse than nothing

I own a large number of Audio Technica mics and I've been very satisfied with them. When I mic stereo, I've been using my normal mics, but the setup takes a while and extra hardware, so I have some use cases where a very simple stereo mic I could plug into my camera or a Mackie 402VLZ would be very helpful.  The ATR6250X is very inexpensive. I appreciated all the accessories (though a bag would be welcomed, I'm happy to forego it to keep the price down).   It doesn't matter because the ATR6250X fails at its primary job, which is sensitivity to sound. It has none. It is so bad it is almost like it is an anti-mic, silencing whatever you point it at. There is no documentation that tells you what the specs are. The claimed frequency response goes from 70-17k, but they include no deviation, so the spec is meaningless.

I have a different mic to capture dialogue and more finite audio needs, but I snagged this to run as a secondary mic to help capture the sound of the space and use that audio to help in post production. Its great for that, but I probably wouldn't use this as a main mic.
