The Perc Drumming Machine and Interface from Polyend is a MIDI/CV-controlled drumming machine that can play on everything from drums to marimbas or anything that resonates. It can be used as a tool for creativity when paired with a DAW (sold separately) that supports MIDI/CV and can follow the most complicated rhythms while keeping time.
Every Perc kit consists of a controller, beater, and clamp, which will allow you to mount the beater in a convenient way. All the cabling and an AC adapter are included. You can daisy-chain as many Perc controllers as needed by using their MIDI output and input ports. The striker comes out about 5 millimeters from the beaterand and can touch the membrane of a kick drum for example. Add multiple beaters to snare drums and hi-hats.
Furthermore, your DAW can output MIDI/CV data to the controller and the Perc drumming machine will play it on time or you can use a MIDI controller and play it manually. The Perc isn't offering any open/close hi-hat mechanisms, but if you install one beater on top of your hi-hat and another one on the bottom, assign a different note for each beater, you can achieve a similar effect.
