I use my mk ii on a microscope, and it is simplest to keep the bluetooth linkages running during a work day, rather than re-pairing each time I need a photo. This power source makes that possible.

Will this adaptor (Bescot BLHIAC) also work with the Olympus HLD9 grip?

The HLD-9 grip has an extra socket for direct external power support so you don't need to use the dummy battery, just the AC adapter. If you did want to use the dummy battery, the door swings open on the side, so it would be easy to add the dummy battery, and just keep the door open (unlike the battery on the bottom, which is awkward if you have the camera on a tripod). I don't have the Bescor BLH1AC just yet, but just using the A/C adapter alone should also work. You will likely need an adapter plug. I tried plugging in a standard 2.1 x 5.5mm power plug to the adapter on my HLD-9, and it didn't fit. However, I have various adapter plugs that change the 2.1mm x 5.5mm power port to other sizes, and one of them fit the HLD-9 socket.

This lists as being compatible with the Olympus ...

This lists as being compatible with the Olympus E-M1 Mark II. Will it also work with the E-M1 Mark III, which uses the same BLH-1 battery as the Mark II? Or does the Mark III have additional "chip-based" restrictions making this incompatible?

Does the adapter work on 220V ?

According to the manufacturer, yes, the Bescor BLH1AC Dummy Battery & AC Adapter Kit for Olympus E-M1 Mark II Mirrorless Camera is compatible for use on 220 VAC power outlets; you simply need the correct plug adapter to convert the plug to the type used in the country in which you will be using the AC adapter.
