Perfect for mobile two-person podcasts, this Gator Cases Titan Series Waterproof Case is a durable hardshell case designed to hold a RODECaster Pro II (and RODECaster Pro) podcast production studio and two Rode PodMic, Rode Procaster, or Shure SM7B microphones with extra storage space for a power supply, mic cables, and accessories.

Made of impact-proof, lightweight NK-7 resin, it is ATA-300 certified for flight readiness. It boasts an IP67 rating and a Mil-STD-810F certification for protection against damage from water and dust, keeping your wireless system safe.

Internal custom-cut foam enables secure placement of your system components. The Powerclaw latching system delivers closure and release with minimal effort. The soft-grip comfort handle offers an easy one-handed transport of the case and can be padlocked (padlock available separately).

This case is not made to accommodate Shure SM7B mics. The foam cut outs do not allow for the stand/arm connections without having to cut out more of the foam.

The description said this case would hold two Shure SM7B mics with the Rodecaster Pro and that just isn’t “the case.” Great otherwise, but I suppose I’ll have to put my mics somewhere else.

Will this case accept the Electro Voice RE20 mic?

The Gator Titan Series Waterproof Case for RODECaster Pro and Two Mics accommodates the size of the Rode Procaster Broadcast-Quality Dynamic Microphone (pictured), which measures ø: 2.09 x L: 8.43". The Electro-Voice RE20 Broadcast Announcer Microphone is slightly larger with measurements of ø: 2.13 x L: 8.54". This is only a slight difference in size, but it is hard to fully guarantee that the RE20 will also fit in this case due to its larger form factor.

The Gator Titan Series Waterproof Case for RODECaster Pro II and Two Mics (BH # GAPTTNRDCST2) will not accommodate the larger RODEcaster Pro I.

will the rodecaster fit in the case with a decksaver cover ?

We have not tested this case with a Decksaver, but it appears that the Decksaver is going to add about 1/4" to the overall height, so it will be tight, but the pyramid foam in the top of the case is quite pliable, so although snug, it should fit.
