Denon PMA-600NE Overview
Up to 70W per Channel
The PMA-600NE delivers up to 70W of power per channel (@ 4 ohms, 1 kHz, 0.7% THD; 45W per channel @ 8 ohms, 20 Hz to 20 kHz, 0.07% THD), and with 4 to 16 ohm speaker compatibility, can be used with a wide range of speaker types.
Bluetooth, Optical, and Digital Coaxial Connectivity
Pair the PMA-600NE with your smart device or computer via Bluetooth to enjoy your favorite music wirelessly. You can also connect your TV, media player, computer, or any digital source via the digital coaxial and two optical inputs. Each support PCM signals up to 192 kHz / 24-bit with a built-in DAC.
Advanced High Current (AHC) Single Push-Pull Circuit
The PMA-600NE features AHC (Advanced High Current) transistors designed to support a higher electrical current supply capacity than conventional audio power transistors.
Up to 100 kHz Frequency Response
The amplifier circuit is engineered to secure a frequency response of up to 100 kHz, while the volume circuit suppresses noise in the amplifier for enhanced sonic resolution, enabling the PMA-600NE to handle a variety of high-resolution audio sources with tone control and power throughout. Balance, bass, and treble adjustment let you fine-tune the audio output.
Analog Mode
This mode allows the amplifier to operate as a purely analog amp, disabling the digital inputs and Bluetooth receiver while you listen to an analog source. Enable this mode to cut power to the dedicated digital power source, preventing any high-frequency influence on the analog section for enhanced clarity and detail. Additionally, the Source Direct function takes advantage of short signal paths for augmented sound purity.
MM Phono Equalizer
The PMA-600NE includes a phono equalizer that supports input from MM cartridges. This phono equalizer is designed for high gain, and as loops in the circuit board pattern can cause adverse effects on sound quality, the straightforward design helps mitigate these effects.
Main Transformer with Individual Wiring
To reduce interference and maintain sound quality, the main power transformer of the PMA-600NE has separate coiled wires for the audio and control circuits.
Micro-Processor Stop Mode
The micro-processor of the PMA-600NE features a Stop Mode that automatically ceases all operations of the micro-processor when it's not needed for playback. By stopping the oscillation of the micro-processor clock during these listening moments, the audio signal is protected from external noise, further augmenting sound quality.
Signal Level Divided Construction (SLDC)
The Signal Level Divided Construction (SLDC) chassis is used in the audio circuit to help ensure that delicate musical signals are faithfully amplified and transmitted to the speakers.

Denon PMA-600NE Reviews
Almost perfect for my needs

I like it so much, the sound for this price is awesome. Design match the CD player and have my old days vibe, not like most over designed amps on market. I love the motorized volume knob and the 2 optical inputs, Bluetooth. Only thing I wish it has was a little LED on the volume knob, and remote with light. I paired it with Klipsch R820-F floor speaker and run them very nice. It is solid 5 stars amp.

Got this to power my B&W speakers and my Technics SL1200 MKII. Crisp clear sound and even with my active subwoofer, the sound is awesome!

Documentation says supports playing from sources with a MM cartridge... I assume it works fine with Moving Coil?
While it may be possible to use Moving Coil with the Denon PMA-600NE 90W Stereo Integrated Amplifier, it is not recommended. A better option would be the Denon PMA-900HNE 100W Integrated Network Amplifier which is specifically designed for this, BH #DEMA900HNE (https://bhpho.to/3PNxkrz).

Can an equalizer be used at the recorder ...
Can an equalizer be used at the recorder input/output connections?
To be able to connect an equalizer into the Denon PMA-600NE, it would need to start with your source device, going into the EQ and then outputting to one of the inputs on the Denon PMA-600NE.

Is it possible to plug this into a PC?
Yes, you just need to have the correct patch cord. Mine is plugged into one and it works great!

Can I adjust the volume and the crossover ...
Can I adjust the volume and the crossover frequency of the subwoofer from settings?
According to the manual the volume is set to max and the crossover frequency to 100Hz. Not changeable. I found few low pass filter to adjust the frequency and the volume. Or the user can add inline volume control to adjust the volume only. However, the Denon AVR receivers, can adjust both the subwoofer crossover frequency and the volume level.
