First TRP rag I've bought and love the construction which seems to be very solid & durable. Creates beautiful, soft diffused light. Magic indeed.

If I had to choose between this and a Full grid cloth, which one is "better" and why?
Asked by: Antoine
In my experience, in most cases magic cloth is more desirable than grid cloth, as it creates a more smooth, even falloff between highlights and shadows. It's a consistent improvement over other diffusions. However, you need a much higher powered light source (more expensive) in order to get the exposure you need, especially when lighting medium to large spaces. For example, your Amaran 200x can work OK with grid cloth, but you're going to need the equivalent output of a 600x to get good results from beefier diffusions like Magic Cloth.

To mount the TRP WORLDWIDE Magic Cloth (6 x 6') customers often use products such as the Chimera Frame for Frame/Panel Reflectors - 72x72" BH #TRD6.

Could you use this with the Matthews RoadFlags II Frame? Could you just roll the excess on the top?
Asked by: Jason
The TRP WORLDWIDE Magic Cloth (6 x 6') is incompatible with the Matthews RoadFlags II Frame. That cloth needs a frame like this: Matthews Butterfly/Overhead Snap-A-Part Light Duty Frame - 6x6', BH #MAFSAP.7566, or Kupo Butterfly Frame Kit (6 x 6'), BH #KUKG043311.
