The black I2 Bass and Cello Microphone Kit with 2.5mm Waterproof Locking Connector for Lectrosonics MM200, MM400, MM400a, MM400b, and MM400c Wireless Transmitters from Countryman is a mic that has been built from the ground up for smooth frequency response, low noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls and natural on- and off-axis response. It can be used to capture natural audio for this instrument.
The I2 microphone is suitable for distance miking that is invisible in front of audiences and on camera. This version features increased sensitivity for distance miking and captures detail for quieter instruments. Flexible close miking techniques are aided by the bass and cello mount, which sits securely behind the bridge with a positioning arm for placement. In addition, the 5' cable is hardwired to the mic and terminates with a 2.5mm waterproof locking connector for direct connection to Lectrosonics MM200, MM400, MM400a, MM400b, and MM400c wireless bodypack transmitters.
