We have purchased several of the Canon LBP247 printers w/ the second paper tray. The paper trays have worked great...allow us to load the printers up with a little extra paper to extend refill intervals. They work well!

Great addition to the imageCLASS MF451dw.

These are a great when combined with imageCLASS MF451dw. I am able to configure two different paper types and set the drivers to automatically pull from the required tray without user intervention.

Can two different paper sizes be used ...

Can two different paper sizes be used simultaneously without having to intervene?

The Canon Paper Cassette AH1 can only fit 1 size paper at a time. However, since this is an add on tray you can use a different size paper in the printer (such as letter size) and use legal size in the Canon Paper Cassette AH1. When printing, you would need to choose tray 1 or 2 in order to print on the correct size paper.
