Especially handy on location, the 10" Chain Clamp from Kupo is designed to wrap around odd-shaped objects to offer a mount for light fixtures. The steel clamp has two 5/8" studs textured for maximum grip for fixtures with matching 5/8" receivers. Its release lever has a set screw to lock it down to prevent accidental opening.

Works great. Used to attach lighter-weight fixtures/reflectors/etc to oddly-shaped mounting points like tree branches, light posts, wood beams. Not a piece of gear you're going to use very regularly, but it can be a lifesaver in tricky situations. No complaints at all. In the end, the chain vide grips are pretty rudimentary, and built solid, so they're hard to screw up. About the only thing I wish were different, is if they had another option with a longer chain.
