The CAMVATE Manfrotto Standard Quick Release Plate is a short 3.5" slide-in camera plate compatible with the Manfrotto 501, 504, 577, and 701 tripod head standards. It comes with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting screws and has a padded platform to prevent twisting and scratching. The compact plate offers a sliding range of 1.5".

Needed Plate For Telescope Mounting. Everything Worked Great On My Tripod.
Tried first on my Manfrotto 701HDV and the plate sticks about 90% of the way in. Not _quite_ usable. On my 503HDV it works OK though is does rub on the red safety release and doesn't go all the way forward unless the release is pressed. For 1/3 the price of the Manfrotto is it a good deal.
