The Shure SM7B is a vocal microphone with a smooth, flat, and wide-range frequency response appropriate for music and speech in professional audio applications. The mic's specially engineered dynamic capsule provides a smooth, polished vocal sound with a rich response in the lower frequency registers, making the mic a favorite choice among broadcasters and podcasters.
It features a cardioid polar pattern, bass roll-off and midrange emphasis (presence boost) controls, and shielding against broadband interference. Internal air-suspension shock isolation helps to eliminate mechanical noise transmission, and a yoke mount facilitates mounting and provides precise control of the mic position.
This microphone is part of the B&H Virtual Mic Locker, an online tool to help our valued customers determine the sonic differences between popular microphones for podcasting and voice over work. Each microphone was recorded using a Grace Design M103 preamp into a Presonus Quantum 2626 interface.

Cardioid Polar Pattern
The classic cardioid pickup pattern is designed to reject off-axis audio, so you can sing or speak at a comfortable angle. And, it captures the sound with minimum coloration, isolating the signal source helps to reduce feedback issues.

Cloud Microphones Cloudlifter CL-1 Mic Activator
The Cloudlifter CL-1 Mic Activator from Cloud Microphones is a compact, single-input solution for common audio problems in the field and in the studio involving low-output passive microphones, including ribbon mics. The CL-1 uses any standard phantom-powered mixer or microphone input device to provide up to +25 dB of clean, transparent gain. This improves signal-to-noise ratio and improves the performance of passive microphone signals by driving stronger, cleaner signals over longer XLR cable runs, making them ideal for broadcast, live, and studio applications. The CL-1 is housed in a rugged steel enclosure which offers shielding and durability. Additionally, the CL-1 has provisions for stage or stand mounting.

This is an all around mic. Can be used for podcasting and for recording high quality vocals for music recordings having different performance settings on mic you can tweak with good interface you don’t really need a preamp but for budget friendly interface you will need it I am happy I upgraded to this mic

The Shure SM7B Vocal Microphone (Gray), BH # SHSM7B, will work well with the the Shure MVX2U MOTIV XLR to USB-C Streaming Adapter (BH # SHMVX2U). The Shure MVX2U will provide up to 60 dB of gain, easily driving the Shure SM7B to comfortable levels.

Need a recommendation for a voice mic to use with an M BOX Mini currently using a SHURE PE 515, I also have a SHURE 545L which I have not tried. Or, if I get a Shure SM7B will I be able to use my Passport 150 Pro as a pre-amp for the M BOX Mini?

Sorry, but I'm not familiar with the M Box Mini or Passport 150 Pro, so I can't answer your question. I do know that you should also purchase a Cloudlifter to use with the SM7B Mic- it's an excellent combination!
