The Palmer STUDIMON 5 is a near-field monitor designed for mixing and critical-listening purposes. This is an active monitor, one with a 5" woofer and a 0.75" silk dome tweeter. Thanks to its bi-amped design, the monitor can push 60W RMS at an SPL of up to 100 dBu. It offers a frequency response of 70 Hz to 20 kHz.
On the rear of the monitor, you'll find connections for 1/4" and XLR sources. The controls are kept simple and straightforward: a prominent volume knob, and that's it. The STUDIMON 5 offers a bass-reflex design to ensure the best bass response out of its relatively compact enclosure. A power cord is included.
