  • C/CS Mount with 4mm Lens Included

  • Analog Audio Input, HDMI Output
The HD-100A Full HD HDMI Box Camera from AIDA Imaging is an ultracompact camera suitable for web-conferencing, sports, auto racing, surveillance, medical, broadcasting, live production, education, house of worship, and other applications. Measuring approximately 1.5" wide by 1.5" tall and 3" deep, the camera can fit in a variety of spaces where a small footprint is advantageous such as a dashcam in a race car, or discretely in the corner of a surgical room. The camera captures HD at up to 60 fps, and it features a C/CS mount for mounting interchangeable lenses and includes a 4mm lens with iris control.

The camera has an HDMI output that allows you to connect to switchers, monitors, recorders, and other devices for viewing and/or recording the image. An included breakout cable provides inputs for power, RS-485 control, and mic/line-level audio, which is embedded in the HDMI output. The cable also has an integrated OSD controller on it. This allows you to select and adjust the built-in image tools such as noise reduction, black-level adjustment, flicker detection as well as selecting the exposure mode.

If I add the 12mm lens what is my field of view?

If I add the 12mm lens what is my field of view?

Since I can't make any sense out of the other answer, I'll chime in with what my spreadsheet tells me, not certain, but: (D) 28 (H) 25 (V) 14 degrees FOV

What is this cameras field of view?

FOV for any camera depends on the lens. If you mean FOV with the stock 4mm lens, I *think* (still learning optics) that gives D (78) H (67) V (40) degrees FOV. This disagrees with what AIDA said, perhaps someone else can clarify for all of us?

I bought this camera for use at a church and it will be aimed at the alter with a large window above it. Will the camera self adjust itself for sunlight or do I need to purchase a lense with auto Iris?
Asked by: Jeff
The AIDA Imaging Full HD HDMI Camera will adjust exposure automatically. I recommend making sure that the intensity of the light inside matches (or gets close to) the intensity of the light outside to avoid too much contrast in the shot.

Novice here. Love this camera... bought 4 of them... although the lens has a little bit of fisheye quality for overhead piano/guitar shots. Could someone recommend a low cost lens for a “normal, non fish eye” shot? What do I need to look for? Thanks!

AIDA sells a 6mm lens that will fit your need, decently priced as well! https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1382664-REG/aida_imaging_cs_6_0f_6mm_hd_cs_mount.html Little side note, if you have any pictures to show of your setup and our camera, AIDA would love to shout you out and post on AIDA's social media, according to your permissions!

Novice here. If I wanted to use this camera for a “front of house” wide-style image to act really as a holding image while re-positioning a PTZ camera, what lens should I use? Think church setting with 40” wide stage.
Asked by: Chris
Based on the camera's sensor size, you should get a fairly adequate angle for what you are trying to achieve with the lens that the camera comes with.

Any suggestions for portable power replacing the included ac adapter?
Asked by: Jahir
None are explicitly defined and unfortunately the manufacturer does not provide "mm" specs of its DC barrel input; a compatible DC barrel to d-tap cable connected to a v-mount or Gold Mount battery should be able to power this device.

Would like to turn this into a "document" camera for science/technology class. How would this camera look, looking down on a table?
Asked by: Christopher
We would not recommend this as a document camera, as it may not be able to focus properly at the given distance.
