The 65161 Single-Port DMX Node with XLR Connectors from Strand Lighting takes commands from a DMX512 controller and communicates them to the other DMX512 devices in the network in a daisy chain configuration. The node provides bidirectional connectivity for one 5-Pin XLR female DMX connector and one RJ45 Ethernet connector. It operates via Power over Ethernet (PoE) supplied by an Ethernet RJ45 port connector. This unit is suitable for flush mounting, surface wall mounting, sitting on a flat surface, or hanging in a truss with the included truss hook.
Please note that network nodes are configured at the factory with common default values. It is necessary to change the network configuration for each node before installing it into the network.
