Use this cable to connect SmallRig VB50 Mini V-Mount Battery to Sound Devices MixPre-10 ii, with the battery mounted on top of the MixPre-10 ii. Just right cable length, D-tab connector just fits well, not too tight, and the 4-pin HIROSE connector works smoothly. Overall, this cable is a very good fit for this combination.
This works right out of the box, with either of my mixers. No more changing batteries in the middle of the day. Love the curly cord - keeps things neat in the bag.
