Not everyone in the older generations are tech savvy. My dad didn't need some fancy android/iOS but more a basic clam shell he's been using but with 4G capacity. His old phone was 2G/3G but 3G is almost extinct with 4G/5G these days and B&H has the SCHOK Classic that's 4G ready. I like it for it's 4G, easy use, and USB-C charging (no proprietary charging). So if he his phone charged he can use my USB-C charging cables. Just one other note- Older phones use the bigger SIM cards so talk with your provider to transfer the old big SIM info to a smaller Nano SIM the SCHOK Classic (and just about all cell phones these days) use and you'll be set.

Try dialing your number the phone will simply ignore the first digit or 2 you press. Same goes while your an a call and a automatic phone system asks you to key in digits, the first key or two will be ignored like you never pressed it. It's impossible to call a bank listing to a Lecture which all requires you to press the keys to navigate. I Emailed the manufacture, they were very helpful to send out a new one promising it was tested, but it had the same exact results. It appears when the screen goes dark the very first key you press will first wake up the phone before actually taking the key press as an input. I believe this could be fixed with a firmware update. So far as of July 2021 it hasn't happened and the manufacture would not respond to this complaint. According to them the phone works exactly as it should. Go ahead, try it, get frustrated them decide to return it. Crazy.

If you do not shut (Block) off Internet and Data in settings you will constantly be charging this phone. The battery life cannot handle those loads without being charged everyday or more. My old Motorola V195 flip phone would last for 3 weeks between charging, but it was 3G and is now obsolete, or I would have kept forever. Schok really needs to have a much better User's Manual, the current one is a Joke. It doesn't mention Voicemail and how to set it up.

You should email Schok Support and ask for a new battery at no cost to you. I purchased 3 of these phones in the last 6 months and the batteries have already failed in all of them. This issue needs to be addressed by the manufacturer.
