Angelbird 128GB UHS-II SDXC Overview

Designed for high bit depths, frame rates, and resolutions, including Full HD, 4K+, and 3D video, as well as raw and continuous burst photography in DSLR and drone systems, the 128GB AV Pro MK2 UHS-II SDXC Memory Card from Angelbird features a storage capacity of 128GB and takes advantage of the UHS-II bus to support sustained read speeds of 280 MB/s and sustained write speeds of 260 MB/s, as well as maximum read speeds of 300 MB/s and maximum write speeds of 280 MB/s. This card has also been designed with the V90 Video Speed Class rating, which guarantees that write speeds won't drop below 90 MB/s.

UHS-II media achieves its speed through an extra row of pins and while this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / V90 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V90. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-II and V60, which supports minimum write speeds of 60 MB/s, UHS-II and V30, which supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s, or UHS-I and U3, which also supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support U3, this card is compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantees minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.

Built for extreme conditions, Angelbird's 128GB AV Pro MK2 UHS-II SDXC Memory Card is protected against water, shock, x-rays, magnets, and temperatures ranging from -13 to 185°F. Also featured is ECC data reliability, wear leveling, and power management for low power usage. A built-in write-protect switch helps to safeguard your content from being erased.

To receive the full limited 3-year warranty, the product needs to be registered on the Angelbird Personal Service Portal within 30 days after purchase. If not registered within this period, the market-specific legal guarantee period comes into force.

Angelbird 128GB UHS-II SDXC Reviews

Video Workhorse!!

I ordered this card for my Canon R50 V camera which I use mainly for videos. I wanted a fast card that ould write quickly from the camera, so I didn’t get any of those video stopped error messages. I’d heard of Anglebird’s reputation from a couple of photography YouTube channels I follow, so I wanted to give them a shot! I really like the card! It is very fast, and I’ve had no problems with it in the camera, or uploading to my 1st Gen Mac Studio. I would buy Angebird products again! I’m eyeing a large CF express card for my R5.

Great card

I’ve always used SD and with my new R7 it kept buffering. It doesn’t do that with this card! Worth the extra money

Has anyone used these with the FX6? How do they handle? Other than 4K 120fps which I know won't work.
Asked by: Adam
It will work great on an FX6. As you said you'll be restricted from recording 4K 120P (in ALL-I) and 1080 240p.

I've notice that some of these Memory Cards for specifically recommended for a particular type and model of camera. Is there a Angelbird Card that would work best with the new Nikon D780 ?
Asked by: Robert
Angelbird tests their cards with specific cameras for the purpose of ensuring higher end video specs would have no issue being recording on their cards. As far as we are aware, this testing has not been done with the D780, but for the purposes of photo and video recording, these card will perform well with that camera.
